STEFAN DOLEGA, CONTROLLER
Stefan has been a loyal part of the
Decore Hotels team since 1991 and
successfully moved through a variety
of in-hotel positions before settling
into corporate accounts. He began
his career working at the front desk
and quickly proved to be a valuable
member of the Decore team. In 2000,
he transferred to the head office in
Edmonton to become the corporate
accountant.
His current responsibilities include management of and forecasting for cash flow and the annual budget, monthly reconciliation and financial statement preparation and capital asset management. In addition, Stefan serves as a company liaison with lawyers, bankers and consultants on various issues including land leases, purchases, year-end completion and inter-company transactions. He has also created the current accounting policies, procedures, reporting process and structure.
Stefan manages all aspects of the Decore Hotels payroll process including benefits, Workers’ Compensation and retirement packages.
