I sit in our one bedroom deluxe log cabin at Castle Mountain and I hear the gentle hum of the trains as they glide through the snow filled valley.
If you are looking for a great family vacation ,stay here. The cross-country trails are beautiful. And, after a long day of skiing or hiking nothing feels better than a long bath in the huge bathroom jacuzzi tub. After a hot dinner made in the cabin, cozy up to the wood burning fireplace and play a fun family game.
The kitchen in the one room deluxe cabins are fabulous and well equiped with everything you will need.

We had spent some time looking at many places on the web and this place just seemed to draw us there. We were specifically looking at staying in a log cabin style cottage however with some of the conveniences that a hotel may offer. We spent 3 nights in the Deluxe One Bedroom Chalet.
Well, we can certainly tell you that our expectations were absolutely exceeded from the moment we walked in the door! All was set for the perfect romantic vacation! Even to the detail of the wood already prepared in the fireplace.(which of course was prepared this way every time we returned from a day of site seeing). Every little detail of our cabin was perfect for us. Not to mention a massive bathroom with a hot tub made it a perfect place to relax those muscles after some long hikes.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a spectacular romantic vacation. Even suitable for a honeymoon!

Or stay at the Maligne hotel made our weekend fabulous. We found ourselves in a bit of a crisis and the manager went out of her way to help us out. The suite we stayed in was absolutely divine. Spacious with a sauna, jacuzi and giant comfortable beds. A fire place in the lounge room and big kitchen with separate dining area. Any time we requested something, service was prompt and very polite. I would recommend this lodge to anyone travelling to Jasper. If there are at least 4 people I highly recommend staying in the suite.

It’s been my 3rd time staying at maligne lodge, its a place like home for me and my family, the cleanliness and great accommodating staff is the main reason we keep coming back to stay with this hotel, after tiring day exploring the charming jasper a very comfortable bed and spacious clean room with a fully furnished kitchen is waiting for you. So if you’re planning to explore jasper this is the right place where you can bring your families and friends.

Big room with kitchenette and a fantastic view on the rockies. Really clean , there was a pool, tree hot tub and sauna. Don't remember her name but the house cleaner was really friendly and she was doing a excellent job I think her name is Irish, thank you very much. I will be back for sure!!!

This is a great hotel with attentive staff, clean rooms, and quiet atmosphere. The real wood fireplaces are wonderful. Location is easily accessible from the highway and a short walk to the shopping and restaurant area. Also close to hiking trails.

My family and I would like to thank you for selecting us to be the winner of your Sweet Summer Adventure Contest. We had an amazing time in Banff and Jasper and cannot begin to express our gratitude for the hospitality we received. Thank you for providing us with wonderful accommodations – the cabin in Banff and the hotel in Jasper were both fantastic! The activities that were included in the trip were amazing as well – so many fun things to see and do!
Finally, I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend a week in one of Canada’s most beautiful places with the three people I care about the most. Our Banff / Jasper 2009 trip will be forever remembered by my family as our “sweetest summer adventure”.
