Job Requirements
– Must be able to read and write in English
– Must maintain standards of excellence in hotel preparation and appearance
– Able to work with minimal supervision
– Capable of delegating work priorities in short order
– Exceptional work ethic
Job Responsibilities
– General sweeping, mopping and floor washing duties
– Dusting furniture and vacuuming carpeting, draperies and upholstery
– Cleaning, disinfecting and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
– Make beds, change linens, distribute clean towels and toiletries
– Wash windows, walls and occasionally ceilings
– Pick up and empty trash and debris
– Restock room amenities at guests’ requests
– Report and store lost items found in rooms
– Ensure public use areas are clean, only as required
– Ensure furniture is in place and in working order
– Answer guest questions about hotel or Jasper amenities and conveniences
– Possibly handle minor complaints, deferring to the Supervisor as necessary
– Stock linen and supplies
